WHAT IS CORRECTED GRAIN LEATHER
In case you do not know, corrected grain leather is top-grain leather which has been modified and undergone surface finishing. In the case of watch straps, corrected grain leather provides a very unique texture to the watch straps. The end result is a watch strap which is of mediocre quality, yet have the surface finishing similar to full-grain leather. One example of this is the embossed leather watch strap. Nowadays, it is quite common to emboss patterns and artificial grain on the watch leather strap. This way, it is cheaper as we can just use genuine leather, but embossed it to remove its imperfections and mask it as a premium leather strap.
